Poll of The Day: Would Britney Spears Have Made A Good Teacher?

In an explosive new interview, Britney Spears revealed all the titillating things a pop sensation does behind closed doors. Brace yourself: she goes to sleep at 10:30 PM, admires her lack of gray hairs, and believes she could make a great history teacher. Pop Justice.com has that story. And by all means, go ahead and read it. Or, stick around and tell us whether or not you'd ever let Spears teach your children.

But first, yesterday's poll: Considering barely 400,000 people tuned in to watch the season premiere of The World According to Paris, it makes sense only 40 percent of Zimbio readers cared to see the show get canceled. Of course, this means 60 percent have no problem seeing Paris Hilton wiped from their TV screens. But don't fret, the brilliance lives on through You Tube.

But back to Spears and the parallel universe where she taught 5th grade history. When asked what alternative path she would have taken had her music career not panned out, the pop star responded: "I'd probably be a teacher. I love kids and even in what I do now one of my favorite parts of my day is getting to meet my fans before the show. Especially the little ones. They are always so cute."

The blonde singer's attraction to education runs deeper than her love for cute children who show up at her concerts. Spears' mother, Lynne, was once an educator in Kentwood, Louisiana.

If the 29-year-old were to teach, we're glad she'd consider history over say, geography. Because lest we forget, she doesn't have the best sense of direction. In 2004 she told Blender magazine: "I get to go to lots of overseas places, like Canada."

Poll of The Day: Is January Jones Mean?

Remember when Zach Galifianakis ripped into January Jones, calling her a "rude" star whom "everybody's going to forget"? That happened back in May. Now, three months later, her 11-year-old Mad Men co-star has called the actress "not as approachable as others" on set. With the insults raining down on this blonde star, we wonder if she's genuinely mean.

But first, yesterday's poll: The numbers don't lie -- 72 percent of Zimbio readers felt more moved by the royal wedding than they did by Kim Kardashian's. This proves one of two things: super-rich reality TV stars don't inspire the same way as royalty, or the vast majority of you remain enamored with Pippa Middleton and her butt. There's no other answer.

Moving on. Should we believe an 11-year-old who describes January Jones as "unapproachable"? And what is an 11-year-old doing using that word anyway? Get back to your trailer and stop trying to "approach" everyone.

As Bill Cosby taught us, Kids Say the Darndest Things. Granted, those children were younger than 11. And none of them worked professionally with grown actors.

Reading Jared Gilmore's words (via TV Guide), we're impressed with the relative subtlety of his comments. Rather than explicitly say she's mean, he instead warned: "Be careful around January." He then added this gem: "She's really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice."

Salma Hayek Talks About Being Super Rich

Actress Salma Hayek isn't ashamed of her ultra-luxurious  lifestyle. The actress, who married French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault in 2009, candidly opened up about the perks of being one of the richest moms in Hollywood.

"I never understood the point of being privileged if you don't get to have the privileges," she told Allure. According to the New York Post, her CEO husband spends $50,000 per month on their 3-year-old daughter Valentina, and Hayek doesn't feel the need to apologize for their little girl's plush life.

"Like, people who won't take their kids to an expensive restaurant, or won't travel with them, or make them pay for everything at a really young age. I think it's important that kids have responsibilities and understand the value of things, but I think it's great I get to travel the world with my daughter," she said.

Pinault is the CEO of his family's company, PPR, a global luxury goods holding company whose portfolio includes Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Alexander McQueen. While Hayek's family by marriage is worth an estimated $11.5 billion, she didn't grow up with rags, either: The actress's father was an oil company executive in Mexico.

One thing Hayek's not shelling out dough on? Plastic surgery. "I've never had anything done on my face," she said. "I've never had dermabrasion or peels or injections of any kind, nothing. My boobs, they're not bad, by the way. I'm not complaining about them."
